At Monday night's meeting, the Hoosic Valley CSD Board of Education accepted Superintendent Amy Goodell’s retirement, effective September 1, 2018.
Ms. Goodell has been a long-time presence in the Hoosic Valley school community, serving as its superintendent since 2014. Prior to this, she was principal at the middle school and the high school.
“We want to thank Amy for her leadership and service over the past 18 years – and wish her the best in her future pursuits,” said Board President Christine Pepe.
Pepe said the Board of Education will be scheduling a special meeting with Questar III BOCES to discuss its options for conducting a superintendent search.
