A message from District Superintendent, G. Michael Apostol
As most of you know, we are front loading our Professional Development Days. We feel that given the impact of the COVID19 Pandemic, it is necessary to continue PD on remote learning and providing social emotional supports for our students. It is best to do our Superintendent’s Conference Days now rather than spread throughout the year as indicated on the original school calendar.
In the interest of keeping our staff safe and the nature of some of our training, we will be doing a great deal of that PD remotely beginning on Tuesday, September 8th and running through Friday, September 11th.
In case you should drive by the school on one of our Superintendent Conference Days, do not let the empty parking lots alarm you and think that our re-opening plans have changed. As mentioned above, we are hosting the training remotely and our lots will not be full as in our traditional opening week.
As the Labor Day weekend approaches, please enjoy, be safe and stay healthy.
