If you have ever considered a career as a bus driver or substitute bus driver, but felt it intimidating, please accept this invitation to try it out in a controlled environment! The Hoosic Valley Central School Transportation Department will be holding an open house for prospective school bus drivers where they will have an opportunity to “Test Drive a School Bus”. Our staff will allow prospective applicants, with a valid driver’s license to drive a school bus (supervised) around the campus.
The date of this event will be March 31th 2021 from 9 AM-11 AM. If you are interested please contact the transportation department at (518) 753-4458 x 1503. If this time and day does not work for you, please call the transportation department to schedule a different time.
Copies of job applications will be available at the event. The HVCSD Transportation Department will train you to get the appropriate licensing and endorsements.
