CLASS OF 2021 HS GRADUATION
MANDATORY REHEARSAL: June 21st @ 2:00pm: at Schaghticoke Fairgrounds, this will take approximately 2 hours. All graduates MUST be present for rehearsal.
CEREMONY: All Class of 2021 seniors should arrive to the Fairgrounds by 4:45pm. If you are driving, pull in the Main Gate and park to the left of the stage/bleachers. Parents & guests will pull into the West Gate, once inside they will be directed where to park (past Main Gate on Stillwater Bridge Road).
- Gowns: take them out of the plastic as soon as you can and put on a hanger. This will start to get some of the folds/wrinkles out of them. Please have gowns ironed before ceremony. - We will not have the ability to iron gowns at the Fairgrounds if they are not already.
- Caps can be decorated this year for the ceremony. Your design needs to be approved in advance, so get your designs in before June 18.
- Attire: Graduates will be required to wear appropriate clothes and shoes for the Graduation ceremony. Keep in mind that clothes worn under your gowns could be visible as the gowns are loose fitting. * If anyone needs help with attire, please let your Class Advisors know as soon as possible.
Male graduates: Dress pants or khakis, dress shirt, tie, and dress shoes.
Female graduates: Dress, dress pants, skirt, or romper. Dress shoes with appropriate attire. The following items are not permitted: jeans, sneakers, rubber flip-flops, and/or t-shirts.
High Heels are not recommended.
SEATING:
Each graduate will be assigned a pod for their parents/guests attending graduation. If possible, we may be able to have additional cars parked behind the guest seating area. If this becomes definite, we will notify you immediately.
PARKING:
Parents and guests to the ceremony will enter through the West gate (Stillwater Bridge Road past the Main Gate). Once inside the gate, you will be directed where to park your vehicle.
REMINDERS:
Caps & Gowns are yours to keep!
Gold Honor Cords: will be handed out at rehearsal, they are yours to keep!
Honor Society Sashes & Class Officer Sashes: will be handed out at rehearsal and worn for graduation. Sashes should be returned to Mrs. Vautrin at the end of the evening (after pictures).
