The Hoosic Valley Central School District is seeking a School Business Administrator who will be responsible for the financial operations of the school district as well as manage the following areas of the business office:  Payroll, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, General Ledger & Account Oversight, Budget Monitoring & Preparation, Federal & State Grant Reporting, Purchasing, Asset Management, Benefits Administration and Cash Management.  The School Business Administrator will provide financial analysis and guidance relative to Labor Relations, Financial Planning and Capital Improvements as well as oversee the operations of Transportation, Operations & Maintenance, Custodial, Technology and Food Service Departments.

Requirements:   Interested candidates must be New York State certified School Business Administrator, School District Administrator or School District Business Leader.  Candidates must possess excellent communication and human relations skills.  Experience in a school district business environment and with education fund accounting is preferred. Prior experience as a District Treasurer to be considered.  An understanding of NY Education Law and Civil Service requirements is required. 

Salary Range:    Commensurate according to experience
Starting Date:      July 1, 2019
