Through art and dialogue, children learn they are not alone in their grief, and that what they are feeling is completely normal. Activities focus on exploring the thoughts and feelings we have after losing someone we love, and how to safely express those thoughts and feelings. Children share memories of their loved ones, encouraging hope and healing.
Wave Riders is a free weekly support group for grieving families with children. Children, teens and adult family members meet in separate, concurrent groups. Groups are available Virtually via Zoom/Webex and Virtually in our local schools in our community.
The Community Hospice group has many programs and offerings for children and adults.
