Science Research Presentation
Posted on 01/24/2021
Christopher Smith, a senior in Hoosic Valley's Science Research Program, will be presenting his paper "The Effect of Vitamin K on Triple Negative Breast Cancer" at the Eastern New York Seventeenth Annual Subregional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium on Saturday, February 6th. The Science Research Program is a 3 year course where students get to conduct scientific research on a topic that interests them. Students start by doing research in a particular area of interest. Students conduct research to answer that question with the help of a scientific mentor. Chris has been assisted in his research by his mentor Dr. Kara DeSantis at the UAlbany Cancer Research Center.

We are very proud to have Chris representing Hoosic Valley at the subregional symposium.  We wish him the best with his presentation!
