The Hoosic Valley Central School district is pleased to offer in person learning daily for elementary students and 2-3 days per week for secondary students. Our goal is to have all students return to in person learning daily as soon as possible.
We also recognize that a return to in person learning may pose a risk to some of our students and families. As a result, HVCSD is offering a remote learning option for the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. All students enrolled in the remote learning program will receive a full schedule with a certified teacher and have the ability to interact with other peers. Please note that once enrolled in the remote learning program, your student will NOT have the option to join in person learning again until January 2021.
In order to provide a quality online experience, we need to allocate and dedicate staff. We need commitment numbers from families to balance the in person master schedule and teaching assignments with the remote master schedule and assignments.
