Important updates from District Superintendent G. Michael Apostol:

Elementary School
Several staff members of the Hoosic Valley Elementary School have been mandated to be on quarantine in accordance with NYSDOH guidelines. As a result of this staffing issue, the Elementary School will be closed on Monday December 7th and will continue to be closed until Monday December 21st.

Students will continue to be instructed through remote learning. Mr. Foti will be sending an e-mail with further details.

Jr. Sr. High School
A teacher at the High School has tested positive for COVID19.

That teacher was in Direct Contact with the entire White Day Group and our Everyday students.

Since the White Day Group and our Everyday students were in Direct Contact with the teacher, they are to be in mandated quarantine for fourteen days in accordance with the NYSDOH Guidelines.

Therefore, I will close school for the White Day Group and our Everyday students starting Monday December 7th. They may return to school on Wednesday December 16th. Students will continue to be instructed through remote learning.

White Day Group and Everyday VoTech students will receive instruction through remote learning for their VoTech classes. Mr. DeFazio will be sending you more details.

Blue Day Group students will report to School on Tuesday December 8th as scheduled. Blue Day Group VoTech Students will report for VoTech on Monday December 7th.
