Update: The cans have been counted and it looks like the "Soup-er Bowl" goes to the 49ers with a 204-189 victory over the Chiefs! And the real winner is the local pantrys that will benefit from this generous donation. Thank you to everyone that donated - now lets see who wins the real Super Bowl!
To share with others in our community, the elementary students will be having a "Soup-er Bowl" for the Super Bowl. From Wednesday, January 29th - Friday, January 31st we are asking students, staff and community members to bring in a can of soup (or vegetables), Each can will be a "vote" for your favorite super bowl team.
Which team will win the Hoosic Valley Soup-er Bowl?
Will it predict the actual winner of the Super Bowl?
The cans collected will be donated to a local food pantry. Also elementary students, don't forget to wear your favorite football team shirt or Hoosic Valley colors on Friday, January 31st!
