Meal Service while Classes Are Canceled

Hoosic Valley Central School District Parents:

For those of you that are enrolled in the food service program during our closure, please note that both pickup and delivery are now scheduled for 9:00-10:30 AM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the duration of the closure. On Mondays, students will receive two breakfasts and two lunches (to cover Tuesdays) and on Wednesdays, students will also receive two breakfasts and two lunches (to cover Thursdays), with the Friday pickup/delivery satisfying that days meals. We are taking these additional measures to limit staff and the community to as much exposure as possible. We are constantly reevaluating this program to ensure maximum safety, service and efficiency.

Original Post 3/16/2020: Please know that in response to the unprecedented cancellation of classes of the Hoosic Valley Central School District, the Food Services team will be working to provide meals to any and all families that request to receive one. Both breakfast and lunch will be offered to anyone that requests a meal. There will be no cost to receive a meal.

We will be offering meals for pickup Monday-Friday between the hours of 11:00 AM-12:30 PMchanged to 9:00 - 10:30 at the Jr. Sr. High School from 3/18/2020-3/27/2020 or you can opt to have your meals delivered during the same window of time. We will provide lunch for that day and breakfast for the next morning.

For Pickup: We are offering curbside delivery of meals. Please pull up to the flagpole entrance at the Jr. Sr. High School. A member of the food services team will come to your car to verify the number of meals and bring it back to you. If a staff member does not immediately make contact, please call our kitchen @ (518) 753-4458 x 2516.

For Delivery: We will deliver to the address on file in the transportation department during the time of 11:00-12:30. If there is a change in address, please note this when reserving your meal.

We will continue service to all those that enroll unless informed otherwise. We will keep everyone informed in the event of any changes in this program.
