Hoosic Valley is awesome! We are all in uncharted territory and yet our Teachers and Staff are still thinking about our students and how to keep them safe, learning and healthy. We’ll be focusing on some of the amazing things that are happening while we are apart that will continue to give us that warm Hoosic Valley feel.
PROVIDING CHROMEBOOKS TO SUPPORT LEARNING AT HOME
We are pleased to announce that the district is making Chromebooks available to households that need a device in order for our students to continue learning remotely. We realize that many students already have their own laptops or computers at home so picking up a Chromebook is not a requirement.
For those students in grades 7-12 that need a chromebook for remote learning we will handout Chromebooks Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6. For K-6, devices can be picked up Tuesday April 7 and Wednesday April 8. For all grades, K-12, parents and guardians may pick up devices at the high school flagpole entrance vestibule between the hours of 8 am and 12 pm. We’re asking that parents sign an agreement to return the devices at the end of our hiatus from school, whenever that date may be. We have attached the agreement for you to review ahead of time to speed up the pickup process.

We'd like to thank all the staff that helped us clean and package our existing chromebooks along with those that configured our new devices. Just another example of HV Staff doing their best to help us all stay together while we are apart.
