It is Spirit Week! Best dressed gets prizes at Pep Rally on Friday!

  • Monday is Merica Monday. Take pride in your country by dressing American.
  • Tuesday is Meme Day. Dress to display your favorite meme.
  • Wednesday is Surfers vs. Bikers Day. Pick a side and go all out.
  • Thursday is Decade Day. Pick a decade and dress it up.
  • Friday is Blue & White Day. Wear as much blue & white as you can to show your school spirit.

Anyone interested in joining Activity/Intramural Club should sign up in Mr. Viggiano’s room. Activities include walking, pickle ball, weight training, yard games and basketball.

Reminder: There is a Yearbook meeting EVERY MONDAY Pd. 13 in Rm. #106 until the yearbook is finished.

Overdue library book notices have been sent out for you to your homeroom teachers. Please review what is owed and either return the book or bring to the library to renew.

Anyone interested in joining Hoosic Valley’s SADD – Students Against Destructive Decisions – should sign up in Rm. #110 with Ms. Gagnon. If you’re energetic, you like to have fun & enjoy snacking, you should join us!

Attention Homeroom Teachers: Please hand out your “what” pins to every girl student. Here’s how to play:

Ladies – if a guy makes you say “what” you have to give him your pin
Guys – if you collect the most “what pins” throughout the day, you win
$20 at pep rally.



If you share housing with relatives, friends or others because you lost your housing or have nowhere else to go, you may be covered under the McKinney-Vento Act. Students covered under the Act have the right to stay in the same school and get transportation to school, or immediately enroll in the local school.

Jr. Sr. HighHigh School Librarian, Ms. long, is excited to report that Hoosic Valley Students in grades 7-12 now have access to the Questar Digital Library. Through their computer or electronic devices (Nook, Kindle, IPad, phone) students can “check-out” e-books. Students should use their student id as their user id (listed on either report cards or schedules) and remember to capitalize their last name. Please see Ms. Long with any questions.
