A message for District Superintendent, G. Michael Apostol

To Parents and Guardians of students of the Hoosic Valley Central School District:

On Wednesday August 5th @ 6:30 PM, my Administrative Team and I will be holding a Parent Forum in regards to the re-opening of school in September. The forum will be live streamed so that all can view it without any concern. High School Principal Eric Papandrea, Elementary Principal Mark Foti , Director of Special Education Patti Sawyer, Director of Instructional Technology and Curriculum Lisa Cala Ruud, and I will present the portion of the plan as it relates to us.

We will review our plan that must be sent to the New York State Education Department (NYSED) for approval. Anyone who has questions on this night may e-mail them in to their child’s respective school.

We are still ironing out the details of our plan that is due to NYSED by July 31st for their final approval.

We are hoping that you can participate in this important event. We will be sending out more information as we approach the August 5th date.
