Governor Cuomo has signed an Executive Order which will allow absentee ballots to be counted if received by mail by Tuesday, June 16th.
Ballots hand-delivered by 5 PM on Tuesday, June 9th will also be counted. These ballots can be dropped in the ballot box at the district office at 2 Pleasant Avenue Schaghticoke. Ballots
dropped off June 9th after 5PM will not be counted.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 202.26, issued on Friday, May 1, 2020 by Governor Andrew Cuomo, all voting for the June 9, 2020 election will be done by absentee ballot, such that the school district must send absentee ballots with a postage paid return envelope to each “qualified voter.” A qualified voter is someone who is a US citizen, 18 years of age, a resident of the District for at least 30 days prior to the vote, and not disqualified by any reason set forth in NYS Election Law §5-106.
Poll Registration
The School District mailed an absentee ballot, with paid postage return envelope, to each qualified voter of the School District, on May 29, 2020. If you are a qualified voter of the School District and do not receive an absentee ballot and paid postage return envelope, please contact the District Clerk, Heidi Pascarella, by email at :
[email protected] as soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of an absentee ballot for the 2020 annual meeting/election.
