Hoosic Valley is awesome! We are all in uncharted territory and yet our Teachers and Staff are still thinking about our students and how to keep them safe, learning and healthy. We’ll be focusing on some of the amazing things that are happening while we are apart that will continue to give us that warm Hoosic Valley feel.
PROVIDING BREAKFAST AND LUNCH TO THOSE IN NEED
Schools are so much more than ABC’s and 123’s. One of the many challenges facing schools while on PAUSE is to ensure our students in need continue to receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch throughout the week. Hoosic Valley Food Service workers and Bus Drivers have been some of the many COVID Superhero’s in the district making sure we don’t lose our sense of community as we follow the social distancing guidelines necessary to flatten the curve.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays you can find Hoosic Valley buses on the road making the deliveries for the week. We can’t thank our employees enough for their hard work and smiles as they go about the business of keeping us together while we are apart.
