Many thanks to PTO for funding fourth grade's Silent Wings Program presented by Trish Marki from the
Wildlife Institute of Eastern New York. Our fourth graders had first hand experience with birds of prey including a screech owl, bard owl, red tail hawk, falcon and a great horned owl. This program reinforces their study of ecosystems, specifically, New York state birds of of prey.
