Mr. Ryan's Anatomy and Physiology class visited the Albany Medical College on December 10th for a heart and circulation lecture and dissection lab. Students received instruction from Albany Medical Professors and then got to get their hands on hearts for some extended learning.
These field trips also give our students a chance to meet their "remote" classmates. Mr. Ryan's class is a DL class through the NERIC Learning Network. Every morning as Mr. Ryan is teaching our A&P students, the class is broadcasted to Columbia High School. The video conferencing technology allows for our students and the Columbia students to interact but it's always nice to meet face to face.
