Lottery Sign up Dates: March 1 - May 10, 2019
The Hoosic Valley Central School District is presently taking names of children whose parents are interested in having them attend a full day Pre-K program in the 2019-2020 school year. This program will be contingent upon continued funding from The New York State Education Department. Eligible students must reside in the district and turn 4 years old by December 1, 2019.
The Pre-K class schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Transportation is not provided for Pre-K students.
Once funding is confirmed and the program is approved by the Hoosic Valley Board of Education, eligible students will be selected by a lottery drawing. Drawing date will be after June 1, 2019; if your child is selected you will receive notification via email after June 1st. Students that are not selected will be placed on a waitlist.
To register your child for the lottery, please email Amy Vautrin at [email protected] or call 518-753-4458, extension 3507. We required the following information to register: Student name, date of birth, Parents’ names, address, phone and email address. When registering we will schedule a screening appointment for your child.
Anyone calling after May 10th will be automatically added to the waitlist.
